Good morning, it's one of my fave challenges this week at Charisma Cardz and it is 'No Cards Allowed'.
My card making except for my DT work has taken a back seat to making my own flowers, hair accessories, corsages etc!!!
Here is the hairband Hollie wore for both the school 'pre royal wedding' celebrations and the joint wedding and mums birthday celebrations. The 'rosettes' are made from recycled clothes (the red is from one of the girls old nighties, the blue from one of their of pyjama bottoms and the white from an old school t-shirt!)! A few mini gems and heh presto! Each of the rosettes has a brooch pin on the back so they can be swapped around or put on out-fits as a corsage etc
and this is the lace corsage that I made for Lillie to wear to the above mentioned celebrations! Just a strip of lace, a glue gun, a circle of felt and a gem, a bit of patience, a couple of burnt fingers and job done lol!!
and here is the proof that the girls actually did wear them!! Hollie is also wearing a rosette style lace corsage and Lillie has a red/white/blue lace bow that I tied and made into a hair slide in her hair!!
