Got soaked today!

I thought with the school year nearly at an end and having never assisted on any school trips that I would volunteer to help with Lillie's class trip to the train station. Well the heavens opened before we even left the school!! The children were all very well behaved, but bless them they were cold and soaked! We watched the arrival of 2 trains, then split into 2 groups and went into the signal box, where Val (the fat controller as she called herself) told us all about how the signals etc worked, it was very interesting! We then looked around the platforms, waiting rooms and ticket office whilst the other children went into the signal box. Would you believe the rain stopped as we were walking back and the sun even had the cheek to shine for a few minutes!!!

I have been invited to London for a make-over and photo shoot on Wednesday by my friend Paula. It didn't take much persuading, none in fact to say yes!! It's something a bit different from the norm. and should be a good day out. The only major problem is going to be that we need to take 5 different out-fits, including shoes, accessories etc!! I have a problem finding 1 out-fit I like, or that fits, let alone 5!!!! So guess what I'll be doing tomorrow?
