Crafting time has been fairly limited of late, especially last week with hubby on hol. as we had his daughter with us for the week, so spent time going out etc.
Finally today with nothing planned after a quick hoover round and little one dusting and eldest cleaning her room, I had time to play!
I managed to cover a few challenges to!
My first cards is for :
1) The Creative Cottage - christmas.
2) The Secret Crafter - make a start on christmas.
3) Sketch and Stash - sketch - used mirri board which has been in my stash for years, which have made the card quite weighty so must remember not to post this one!!!!
and this card is for :
1) Cupcake Crafts - Let's get digital - the image is a digi from Sassy Cheryl and the sentiment is a Whimsy digi.
2) Papertake Weekly - Just the one - one image, one paper, one piece of string, one sentiment!
3) Pollycraft - add a little nature - the string?
Well that's it for now, may get a bit of time to play again tomorrow, nothing planned as yet!!

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 119
Good morning, apologies for being late with the challenge yet again, it's these lazy mornings!!! We've got to get out of the habit as it's school and work for us again in under a week boo..hoo..!!!
We have the below sketch designed by Paola as our challenge this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar and here is what I did with it. The image is one that I chose from our sponsor this week and is called 'best friends', I think it's so cute, and the girls are a bit like mine with the long and shorter hair, hence the blondie colours!!! All papers are from my celebration paper cellar pad, the sticky ribbon and flower have been in my stash for years!!!

Chairsma Cardz - so so hot!!!!!
Good morning, can't believe it's Thursday already, I so want the holidays to slow right down now, as not only does it mean the girls will be back at school (not a bad thing) but it means I'm back at work to!!!
Time for a new challenge at Charisma Cardz and this week we are going against the miserable weather and asking for 'hot-hot-hot' projects.
Sadly my printer has decided to play silly beggars so I couldn't use an image from our sponsor (DSB) so I used an image I had already got printed and cut out, yes my trusty dinosaur image from SJ's Little Musings, I have used him so many times and never tire of him!! Teamed him up with some paper scraps from my folder and a mixture of buttons, the sentiment is also one previously printed (when printing images I always end up with space at the bottom of the page so fill it with various sentiments which are always handy!). Please check out the blog for all fabulous prize details and to see the girls 'hot' examples!

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 118
'The choice is yours' is the title of our new challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar, yes you can choose to make a 'shaker card' or use the following recipe - 3flowers, 2 buttons & 1 ribbon. I went for the easy option and used the recipe, just for time reasons of course!!!!
We were able to choose an image from Whimsy (our sponsors) to use on our projects, I so love Meljen's designs so chose penpal mouse as I thought it would be just perfect for note books, so this is what I made :
the notebook before it's makeover!!

Charisma Cardz - Die cuts
Oooppss very very late with my post re the new Charisma Cardz challenge, apologies girls!! I forgot to schedule my post and was meant to be going out with my bestie and her boys, but unfortunately her youngest isn't well (needs an op.) so we have postponed it, and I ended up going shopping with my mum!!!
Anyhow, our challenge is to use 'die-cuts', I have used one of the Lili of the Valley die cut images that I got in the LOTV sale. I made this card for my MIL who isn't well at the moment, she has fluid in her lungs, went to hospital today and has to go back for a scan and has been told to take FIL with her next time (we are so hoping that doesn't mean bad news).
For prize details please see the blog.
I would like to enter this card into the Papertake Weekly challenge as I have followed their lovely sketch and also the Cupcake Craft challenge to use 2 papers/2 ribbons/2 flowers, and Happy Birthday to the Cupcake blog 2 years old wow!!!

Charisma Cardz - Easel card
We have a new challenge at Charisma Cardz and this week I have chosen Easel Cards as these are my absolute favourite style of cards (well until something new grabs me!!).
I thought I would try a card without an image for this card, I recently bought a pack of 4 butterfly embellishments from Poundland, they are made of feathers and have lots of glitter making them sparkle (I now wish I'd bought more), I have used 1 of these as my focal point and I love it!! here is another view to show the easel style

I didn't make my card until yesterday, and then had to make it in a hurry as I was going out. I went for a male themed card as I wanted to have a play with this KennyK digi image I'd got printed out. The papers are from the Dovecraft masculine pad, including the sentiment and I went with buttons instead of flowers!! Our sponsor this week is Chi Chi Memories and Natalie has very kindly donated the prize of the super cute digi set called 'summer sun' -it really is sweet!!
The girls as always have created beautiful cards and it's lovely to have the super brave Michelle back with us, with a gorgeous card!
I would like to enter my card into the Secret Crafter challenge which is 'it's a mans world'.
