40th birthday celebrations

Well today it was/is my 40th birthday, do I feel any different? any older? actually no I don't, heh it's just another day!!  Some days I feel my age other days I feel about 80 lol!!!  

I've been thoroughly spoilt, lots of cards, money, delicious perfume from my lovely work girlies, more perfume, choccies (naughty for the diet, so will have to ration these!), clothes, a fabby purse with our dog on it so that he can be with me wherever I go, the list goes on...........

We went out for a family meal, it was lovely!  There was a balloon modeller in the restuarant he has got to be the best one we've seen, his creations are ace!  The kids asked for theirs and my sis asked him to make me something as it was my birthday, here's what I got!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the totally bazarre thing is why did he choose Minnie Mouse?  We're off to see the mouse herself really soon?!?!?

and here I am with hubs who made my birthday cake whilst I was at work!  The waitress brought the cake over asked me to stand up and then announced to the whole restaurant that it was my birthday and got everyone to sing to me, talk about embarrassed lol!!!

It truly has been a fabulous day xxxx

Charisma Cardz - sketch

Good morning, Charisma Cardz challenge time again, and this week we have a fabulous sketch to follow, always good when you run a little dry on ideas!!

For my card I have gone for a slight halloween theme, the bubble stickers are ones I picked up a couple of weeks ago, just incase I ever get around to doing any scrap pages!

This is a great layout for scrap pages as the photo can take centre place and you can tart it up with all sorts of embellies!

Charisma Cardz - Something for the Boys

Good morning, wow the weeks are flying by quickly, soon be christmas lol!!!!

New challenge time at Charisma Cardz and this weeks theme is 'something for the guys'.  I dug out my Little Musings disc and printed this little fella out, printer is playing up so the colours are totally wrong but I kinda liked the yellow hoody and just went over the jeans (which printed out PINK!!) and the bright orange hair!

Charisma Cardz - Shaped Cards

Good morning, it's time for a new challenge over at Charisma Cardz and as you can see from the post title our theme this week is 'Shaped Cards'.

I've gone for a round card, I loved this image as soon as I saw it in my Pollycraft 100 image digi package which I purchased just before Paula closed her shop.  If I'd of had a large snowflake I think that would've been a better addition than the flower, but I haven't so just went with it, and I don't think it looks too bad!!

Back to school tears!!

Been having probs trying to upload pictures into my post, hence not posting for a while!  Don't know what I've done differently today but it seems to be working again!!  Bloomin technology lol!!

Thursday was 1st day back to school after the summer holidays, and as expected my youngest was in tears!  For some the holidays aren't long enough, but I think for her they are too long!  She gets used to being home, getting up when she wants, wearing what she wants, eating whenever, going out and about, and although I rraaaarr.... at them she gets used to being home with me.

and just look at that blotchy little face!!  the thing that makes this year worse is that her and her 2 bessie mates have all been split into different classes and all have new teachers, I do feel a bit sorry for them, but they can catch up at break and lunch time.

 just had to show you this picture, last day of the hols we went to the cinema and nipped into a couple of shops, now 'owls' are supposed to be the 'in' thing this season and yes I have my eye on a top (I'll be dropping hints for my birthday next month ;0) ) we found these wonderful hats in Primarni, if I didn't think that i would look like a wally in one I would have one myself!!!!!

Charisma Cardz -Marvelous Monochrome

Good morning, a scheduled post from me as I'm sitting in the hospital waiting to have an endoscopy (camera search) done of my stomach! oh the joy!

It's new challenge time over at Charisma Cardz and if you don't like the theme blame me I chose it lol!!  Yes I've gone for Marvelous Monochrome.  I've gone for a change in colour, usually when I do monochrome I do black and white so red was a complete change and I LOVE it!!!  The smudged background was a complete accident I was only trying to do the very edge and  I over splodged!
