Mojo - If found, please return!

I just can't find the enthusiasm to create anything today :0( I've gone through the challenges that I'm yet to enter, and started to make something but have abandoned it as nothing I do looks right?

So all I have today are a few blog candy alerts, as follows :

Bev is celebrating a whopping 100,000 hits to her blog with a fabulous candy. See here

Sally is celebrating 2 things, firstly it was Sally and her hubbys 39th wedding anniversary on Saturday (past) and also getting 1500 hits to her blog which has only been running 6 months. See here for details

The very talented Elisabeth Bell has her first blog candy of the year and fab it is to! Go take a look here for all of the details of how to enter.

Well I am now off to find a film to watch with my girls. Hollie went back to nursery today and made no fuss at all, she was excited to be back, and came home with a party invite which made things even better!! Lillie on the other hand has been off of school today. Last night we heard a bang on the ceiling but thought nothing of it as the girls are always jumping in and out of bed, usually Hollie getting in Lillie's for a 'story', however the bang was followed by Lillie crying and calling us, which we now ignore as it's become something of a habit. Only to find her sitting on her bed in a pool of sick (sorry) so there was me giving her a shower and hubby stripping her bed at 11pm last night. I asked her if she had fallen out of bed and she said yes, she had some marks on the side of her face (gone today) and said her leg hurt! This morning she looked pale and said her tummy hurt, also her shoulder and side, she hasn't eaten anything yet today so she must be ill! She also has a fairly big bruise on her left hip, apart from a quick dash to the loo she seems a lot brighter now, so should be back to school tomorrow.

Back tomorrow with my A Spoon Full of Sugar card (good job I made it at the weekend!)

WOJ made my first christmas card of the year!!!

It seems ridiculous that I have made a christmas card already, and I know I'm by no means the first person to do so. But I wanted to make a card using the lovely sketch over at the Whiff of Joy challenge blog, and you have to use a WOJ image. Sadly I only have 1 of their stamps that I was lucky enough to win in Katharina's advent calendar in the run up to christmas, and a few images that I was kindly sent. If anyone could kindly help me out with some more images that would be wonderful. The papers were from a new pack that I got in the sale at the Range when I went with my mum on Monday, the brads were also a sale purchase and part of a mini embellishment kit that match the paper perfectly.
So here is my card, I haven't followed the sketch 100% as there wasn't room in the bottom right to add my greeting, hope this still counts!? Now I think the card is a little plain and maybe I should have faux stitched or doodled around the edge of the image?

Charisma Cardz -challenge no.1 "Pink"

We have Lift Off!!!!

It's our first challenge over at Charisma Cardz a new weekly challenge blog, we would like you to make a 'pink' card. You can use any technique you like, stamped images, decoupage, toppers anything as long as it is pink.
Here is my first DT card as you can see from the greeting I made it for my daughter Lillie, she did very well in her ballet exam (passing with 'honours') and I will give this to her when she receives her certificate and medal. The image is a Bella which I received in a swap a long time ago.
We have a fab prize which Paula has kindly donated. Can't wait to see your designs and if you should need any inspiration why not take a look at the rest of the fabulous DT cards.

Hug a mug desk calendar

I have been wanting to make a desk calendar ever since I received one from Monika in a PIF candy. I bought the cd cases from Poundland when we bought the recordable dvd (which hasn't worked properly since the day we had it grrr....) The paper is out of a pack I've had for ages, there are small gems on the tips of the swirls and the calendar is curling a bit as I brushed it over with a beige watercolour pencil as the white stood out too much!! The image is one of the newer ones from Sugar Nellie's, I think she is really cute, and she is holding a mug of hot chocolate or maybe even soup I am using this as my entry into this weeks My Time to Craft challenge which is 'Food, Glorious, Food'
I am also entering this for the Lili of the Valley 'Anything Goes' challenge.
and Also for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursdays which they are asking us to use something we had for christmas on our cards, well I have coloured the image with my new Whispers Strokes brush markers, admittingly I used them as normal felt-tips but will practice with the blender pens sometime!!

We are awaiting news from Carly as to when Charisma Cards first challenge is going to hit the blog, will post my card and the challenge as soon as we know. Should be sometime today!

One Stop - Sugar Bowl

Yesterday I made this card following the sketch from One Stop Craft Challenge, it took minutes to make, the thing that took the longest time was choosing which buttons to use!!!Then I took the plunge and had a go at the sketch for the first challenge over at the Sugar Bowl, boy would I love to win the prize!! I have used one of the older stamps for this as I wanted to use the co-ordinating papers, and doesn't that button match a treat!?! I'm really pleased with my finished card, Matthew has already earmarked it for his brothers birthday and that isn't until October!! Don't forget it's the first challenge for Charisma Cardz tomorrow, please pop over and join in, I promise it's a challenge that everyone can take part in with the greatest of ease!!
