Let them eat cake!

Lillie had a party to go to this afternoon so me being me making all of these cards but not usually ones I 'need' so made a quick card for her little friend, bet you can't guess his name!?! It's very plain but I wanted to add the name somewhere on the card as I think that now they are learning their letters and to read it's fun to see their name. I've had the decoupaged picture made up for months just waiting to be used, so that's one thing off of the pile Lol..!
I am also going to submit this for this weeks Daring Cardmakers challenge which is 'scrumddilyumptious' to make something foodie, I think these boys well at least the one on the right is enjoying the birthday cake don't you?

As it happens Lillie didn't go to the party in the end, she had an upset tummy and had visited the toilet several times this morning, could it be something to do with the 1/2 a chicken (yes a whole chicken cut in half) she had for her tea last night? I asked her if she was feeling alright and she said her tummy hurt and that she wouldn't go, which I think was the right choice really as the party was planned for outside and it started to rain before it was supposed to start and hasn't stopped yet!

I have meaning to give a shout out for the Crafty Monkeys challenge blog http://hannahzoecraftymonkeys.blogspot.com/ this is run by my design team members Nikki and Debbie's talented young daughters Hannah and Zoe. This is a challenge blog for children up to the age of 16. This weeks challenge is to make a 'summer holidays' card and there is a lovely Magnolia stamp up for grabs for one lucky winner. I am going to get my girls to make a couple of cards to enter, as they say you have to be in it to win it!!
